Afghan envoy’s daughter not abducted, missing for hours: Sh Rashid
ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday said that Silsila Alikhil, the daughter of Afghan ambassador, was not abducted but was missing for few hours.
Speaking to the journalists in Rawalpindi, the minister maintained that the ambassador’s daughter changed four taxis in a few hours. “According to the our investigation, no unknown person had sat in her any taxi,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed also said that investigation into the incident is underway and the facts will be released soon. “Anti-Pakistan elements will be failed,” he added.
Criticizing PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, the interior minister said that the PML-N leader’s language is non-parliamentary. Maryam Nawaz is giving statements against Imran Khan not Indian PM Narendra Modi,” he added.
