LAHORE (Balochistan Times) - Justice Tariq Saleem of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday ordered the police to stop the operation in Zaman Park immediately.
Hearing the PTI's plea, he remarked that the operation should be stopped till 10am. "We want a ceasefire and the police should go behind up to 500 metres. Closed passages should also be opened," he ruled.
Punjab IG Dr Usman Anwar told court that they are bound to implement the court orders.
On the other hand, the police stopped the operation till 10 am on Thursday and moved behind from the site.
