PESHAWAR (Balochistan Times) - The police have arrested the mastermind and the facilitator of the Peshawar Police Lines suicide blast.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, CTD Additional IG Shaukat Abbas said that the attack was planned in Afghanistan. "The blast was carried out by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Al-Ahrar. The terrorists were identified with the help of 300 cameras," he disclosed.
He said that the mastermind was identified as Imtiaz Khan while the terrorist namely Qari carried out the blast.
On January 30, 84 people, a majority of policemen, were martyred and 233 were injured.
