Staff Report

QUETTA: Maulana Abdul Wasi, Provincial Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan and Member National Assembly has said that if the rulers had been serious about the Kashmir issue, the situation would not be as it is today.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam will continue its struggle for the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination. There are no two opinions in Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. We will work out a comprehensive strategy. We will never leave the people of Kashmir alone.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at his residence on Wednesday. Maulana Wasi said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and Pakistan Democratic Movement are truly representing the people of the country for which we will not remain silent under any circumstances. And it is time to take power through unconstitutional means. Now is the time for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and its real representatives to play their role in solving the problems of the province.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam will not hesitate from any sacrifice for the development and prosperity of Balochistan. Pakistan Democratic Movement has started a movement against inflation and we will not remain silent on it. He said that Kashmiri people have always fought for their rights but unfortunately some rulers bargained for their interests and today Kashmiri people are fighting for their right to self determination.
