Kashif Siddiqui observes Eidul Azha with poor, malnurished children in rural Sindh
Tharparkar/Umarkot ( Bureau Report) – Renowned poet, columnist and writer Kashif Shamim Siddiqui, on the eve of Eidul Azha, has reiterated the resolve to observe this event with the poor children as well as the children facing malnutrition.
Talking to the media during a welfare programme, he said that the children who are future of the country have become a picture of helplessness in the backward areas. “They have neither better health facilities nor education, standard food and clean drinking water. Under this situation, such children should be fully supported and an attempt should be made to make them happy,” he maintained.
Kashif Siddiqui said that it is not difficult to assess the mental agony of these innocent children living in the backward areas after looking at their faces, especially the condition of the children facing malnutrition makes someone to weep.
The Poet of Peace said that he wants to do a lot for the poor children. “I am hopeful that philanthropists and institutions will support me,” he added.
He said that he is starting his journey from Sindh on the arrival of Eidul Azha and he will visit Tharparkar and Umarkot first of all.
