CM orders probe into financial irregularities at Washuk hospital

Staff Report WASHUK: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has ordered an investigation into allegations of financial irregularities at the District Headquarters Hospital in Washuk. This decision was made during a public gathering in the district Washik, where the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing the area’s backwardness and providing basic facilities to its people. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has taken swift action against irregularities in the District Headquarters Hospital Washuk’s funds. During a public gathering, Bugti ordered the Chief Minister Inspection Team to investigate the complaints and directed action against those responsible. The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs. 20 crore for local bodies and Rs. 10 crore for the Washuk Town Committee. He also increased the annual development program for Washuk to Rs. 1 billion. Bugti expressed his determination to hold accountable those responsible for the alleged financial irregularities at the hospital. During his visit to Washuk, the Chief Minister met with local leaders, including Chairman District Council Washuk Mir Elahi Bakhsh Riki and PPP leader Mir Sadiq Imrani. He also received a briefing from Deputy Commissioner Washuk Munir Ahmed Durrani and issued orders for the immediate resolution of public problems. Bugti praised the people of Washuk, calling them patriots, and emphasized the need to utilize all available resources to eliminate backwardness and promote development and prosperity in the area.
