Punjab govt decides to expand scope of Corona vaccination centers
LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has decided to establish more coronavirus vaccination centers in the province to provide free of cost vaccinations to people.
The Punjab chief minister also said that the provincial government will purchase doses more than one million for administering vaccines. He further said that all facilities are being provided to coronavirus hotspots as government will take all possible steps to protect masses from the virus.
Usman Buzdar also urged people to take precautionary measure and wear face masks.
On the other hand, a high level meeting under the chair of CM Buzdar was held to review coronavirus situation and pace of vaccination drive in the province.
On the occasion, CM Punjab said that government has allocated Rs1.5 billion for procurement of coronavirus vaccine. Over one million doses will be purchased to provide free jabs to citizens, he added.
